The “explosion” of coronavirus cases in Attica has caused great concern in the scientific community.
In order to “slow down” the spread of the coronavirus, the experts proceeded with a series of suggestions for the taking of strict measures in Attica, which will be horizontal and will initially last two weeks.
Among other things, the measures – which will be announced this afternoon – include new rules for masks, suspension of shows-concerts, special restrictions for catering, public markets and store hours.

Scientists, such as Professor Nikos Sypsas, pointed to another “bell”, emphasizing that in Attica 60% of the available Intensive Care Units (ICUs) have already been covered.
Among other suggestions, scientists have proposed the resumption of telework for both the public and private sectors.
According to ERT, three municipalities have the highest number of coronavirus cases in Attica. These are the municipalities of Athens, Piraeus and Kifissia.
It is recalled that 180 new cases of coronavirus were announced yesterday, of which 102 were detected in Attica.
