The government has announced new horizontal measures for epidemiologically affected areas, such as Attica and Pella. This means that the mask measurement will be applied to all areas, open and closed.
The main question is whether these measures will affect only the municipalities with the most cases or the entire Attica region.
The busiest areas are central Athens and Piraeus, followed by the municipalities in the northern suburbs.
However, Kyriakos Mitsotakis would like to avoid the universal use of a mask, which, however, cannot be ruled out as a measure.

It is recalled that in the morning the government spokesman, Stelios Petsas, revealed that the committee of specialists in infectious diseases was preparing a list of measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus in Attica.
“The combination of the outbreak of cases at the international level and the fact that we are opening schools and we will have more mobility and we will have a greater epidemiological burden in some areas, for example in Attica and Pella, makes us be vigilant and the prime minister has asked from the committee of experts to draw up a list of measures at the local or general level if necessary, “he said during the political authors’ round, referring to the increase in cases in our country.
