According to the prosecutor, the reasons for the execution of the businessman with a firestorm are unknown, however, the ignorance of the motive cannot prevent the court from judging on the basis of the evidence leading to the two defendants.

At the same time, during his speech in court, he said that the two brothers came to Greece from Bulgaria and killed the businessman.

The businessman’s widow, Victoria Karyda, had also requested the conviction of the accused with her statements.

“I have full confidence in the Greek justice that they will do their job correctly, as the Greek police did. They will get what they deserve in court,” he said recently when asked what he expected from the trial.

Ms. Karyda emphasized in court that she had never realized that her 47-year-old husband was afraid of anything. and that if there was any cause for concern, the victim would have told him and taken precautionary measures. On the contrary, according to the witness: “We were traveling on a Vespa, without protection. We were not afraid. We only had cleaning service after 10 at night for the thieves.
