Closed in a detention center in the country for cases of drugs, weapons and antiquities, is the local owner of the area in Kastoria, where on Friday (9/11) the police found large amounts of ammunition buried. A criminal case was filed against him.
During the police operation, in which the Security and Drug Prosecution Departments of the Kastoria Security Subdirectorate and the Cross-Border Crime Team of the Mesopotamia Border Guard Department and the Army Mining Team 122 / TENX participated They were found buried in a fenced off area of an open-air operation and were confiscated:
anti-tank rocket launcher (RPG),
16 anti-tank missile (RPG) warheads,
79 defensive grenades and offensive grenades,
3 KALASHNIKOV type rifles, 2 submachine guns, type 50,
4 submachine gun cartridges, type 50, 25,920 cartridges,
80 grenade detonators,
16 anti-tank rocket (RPG) fill propellant packs
and 9 anti-tank rocket (RPG) cylindrical warhead rings.
The Kastoria Security Sub-Directorate, which carries out the pertinent preliminary investigation, examines both the exact form and the moment of supply of the weapons, as well as the possible participation of accomplices of the owner of the space. The file formed is sent to the Public Ministry of Kastoria.
