A car bomb had exploded at an Iraqi police recruitment center in Kisak, northeast of Amman, northeast of the capital Amman.
Videos posted on social media show the moment of the powerful explosion.
According to the first information, the explosions could have occurred due to the high temperatures that have been prevailing in the area lately.
However, it is not officially clear what caused the explosions in an area where dozens of military bases are located on the outskirts of the large industrial city.
According to media reports in Jordan, a large fire broke out after the explosion.
According to the same information, two people were killed and three others were injured in the explosion.
Residents reported that house windows were smashed in parts of the city, from where large flames could be seen.
The Jordanian state news agency reported that the explosions took place in the Gabawi area, east of Zarqa. The agency did not provide further details.
