The General Secretariat of Civil Protection announced new extraordinary restrictive measures in four areas, in order to prevent a further spread of the coronavirus in our country.
According to a GGPP announcement, with yesterday’s results in PE The areas of Pella, Pieria, Imathia and Kilkis are subject to special restrictive measures.
Specifically, the prohibition of the operation of all health establishments from 12 at night until 07:00 the next day.
Likewise, suspension of any type of event such as parties, fairs, processions, public markets, etc., prohibition of any type of gathering of citizens over 9 people for any reason, both in public and in private.
It is also noted that in the dining areas a maximum number of people at each table is allowed up to 4 people, unless they are first-degree relatives where up to 6 people are allowed.
Wearing a mask is mandatory both indoors and outdoors.
These measures are valid for 14 days: from Friday 09/11/2020 at 06:00 until Friday 09/25/2020 at 06:00.
Finally, as mentioned in the announcement in consultation with the Ministry of Finance for the affected companies, the employment contract of the employees can be suspended.

After an extraordinary meeting held today at the Civil Protection Operations Center and taking into account the epidemiological data as it has been formed and with the results of yesterday in PE Pella, Pieria, Imathia and Kilkis, by order of the Vice Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management, Nikos Hardalia, by decision of the Secretary General of Civil Protection, Vassilios Papageorgiou and with the recommendation and consent of the Public Health Expert Committee and in particular to limit the spread of the effects of the COVID-19 disease, the following restrictive measures for PE as follows:
- Prohibition of operation of all health warehouses from 12 at night until 07.00 the next day.
- Suspension of any type of event such as parties, fairs, processions, public markets, etc.
- Prohibition of any type of meeting of citizens over 9 people for any reason, both in public and in private.
- In the dining areas a maximum number of people at each table is allowed up to 4 people, unless they are first degree relatives where up to 6 people are allowed.
- Mandatory use of a mask both outdoors and indoors.
It is noted that in consultation with the Ministry of Finance for the affected companies, the employment contract of the employees may be suspended.
Special units of the National Transparency Authority (EAD) and EL.AS go to the mentioned areas. for the intensification of controls and for the faithful implementation and supervision of the measures in their supervisory areas.
Finally, the above restrictive measures are valid for 14 days from Friday 09-11-2020 and from 06.00 to Friday 09-25-2020 and from 06.00.
