The murder of Willy Monteiro, a 21-year-old man living on the outskirts of Rome, has caused outrage and outrage across Italy.
Willie, the son of Cape Verdean immigrants, died after a brutal beating that lasted almost twenty minutes. According to many eyewitnesses and the Italian media, the murderers are four young Italians between 20 and 26 years old. Willie, according to the APE-MPE, did not judge against him. He was only trying to defend his friend, against whom the four of them had begun to triumph because of, apparently, the look with which he had dared to look at a girl, in a nearby club.
No one, however, could defendto Willie, who dreamed of becoming a famous cook, from blind violence.
The alleged perpetrators now deny any responsibility. But prosecutors, so far, consider the testimony against him to be sufficient and credible.
Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte spoke to the victim’s parents and asked all Italians to ask themselves why this blind violence occurs and what does it mean.
The secretary of the center-left Democratic Party, Nicolas Gingaretti, announced that his political force will provide financial support to the Willy Monteiro family so that his lawyers can do whatever it takes to achieve full justice.
And the secretary of the League, Matteo Salvini, finally, in a post, stressed that “a golden child was killed by inhuman beings.”
