A nurse at a kindergarten in Korydallos tested positive for coronavirus. The Municipality of Korydallos stated in a statement: “Acting with caution and with a sense of responsibility towards children, parents and nursery staff, the Municipality of Korydallos carried out, during the period from August 31 to September 4, a test to detect Covid19 in all kindergarten staff (teachers, support staff, etc.) “.

As clarified by the Korydallos City Council, the test was carried out before the reception of the children in the kindergartens “in order to guarantee that it will be carried out in a safe environment”.

According to the announcement, after checking the samples, it was learned that a nanny from the 1st Nursery tests positive for the Covid-19 virus, while the positive case was immediately reported to EODY and the occupational doctor of the Municipality of Korydallos.

Likewise, on the morning of Monday (7/9), the Municipal Organization for Preschool Education and Social Solidarity (DOPAKA) of the Municipality of Moschato-Tavros was informed by a parent of an infant from the 1st Moschato Nursery School that the father is positive for the COVID-19 virus.

The infant had arrived at the station on Thursday and Friday, while today he stayed home as a precaution.

From the first moment, DOPAKA contacted and informed EODY and the General Secretariat of Civil Protection.
