The death toll from the new coronavirus in our country rises to 287, since in a few hours two men – one 74 years old and the other 83 – ended up in Attica.
The 74 year old he was hospitalized since August 27 in the ICU at the “Sotiria” hospital and had underlying diseases. He reportedly suffered from type II diabetes and hypothyroidism.
The 83-year-old was hospitalized in his ICU Attikon Hospital and so far it is not known if he had any underlying disease.
The mean age of our dying fellow citizens, according to EODY data, was 78 years and 96.1% had an underlying disease and / or were 70 years or older.
Recall that on Sunday afternoon (9/6) EODY announced that they were counted 144 νcases of coronavirus in the country, of which 24 were detected after controls at the entrance doors.
The total number of cases is 11,524, of which 55.7% are men. In total, 2,245 (19.5%) are considered related to trips from abroad and 5,017 (43.5%) are related to an already known case.
Of the 119 domestic cases, 20 are related to outbreaks, while 13 report recent travel within the country.
