Pensions – See all the news here: As of Friday, September 25 (with an open date of September 22), the payment of pensions for October 2020 begins. The process will be completed on Wednesday, September 30, 2020.
The changes in the payment dates of the EFKA main monthly pensions have been introduced by Law 4611/2019 which was approved last May.
According to the Law, the date of payment of EFKA’s main monthly pensions is defined:
a) For employees on the penultimate business day of the previous month
b) For the self-employed the fourth last business day of the previous month
In exceptional cases, the dates in section 1 may differ after a reasoned decision of the EFKA Board of Directors and approval of the Minister of Labor, Social Security and Social Solidarity.
The dates of all funds
- the Ika will pay the pensions September 2020 on Tuesday 29 September 2020
Caution! If payment with AMKA is applied, as in previous months, the effective dates for IKA pensions are:
- Tuesday 22 September 2020 (for retirees whose AMKA expires on 1, 3, 5, 7, 9)
- Thursday 24 September 2020 (for retirees whose AMKA expires at 0, 2, 4, 6, 8)
For the remaining Funds, the September 2020 pensions will be paid as follows:
- HE OAEE will pay the pensions in Friday 25 September 2020
- HE ΟΓΑ will pay the pensions in Friday 25 September 2020
- the Public will pay the pensions in Tuesday 29 September 2020
- the NAT and ΚΕΑΝ will pay the pensions in Tuesday 29 2020
- HE OPEC will pay the pensions of the elderly without insurance in Wednesday 30 September 2020
- the EBRD (no employees) will pay the pensions in Friday 25 September 2020
- the other EFKA funds (employees) will pay the pensions in Tuesday 29 September 2020
- the temporary pensions of the Armed Forces, Security Forces and Fire Department will be paid the Tuesday 29 September 2020
- Supplementary pensions ETEAEP
The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in cooperation with the e-EFKA Administration decided that the payment of the main and auxiliary pensions would be made on the same date permanently.
Therefore, the supplementary pensions for August 2020 will be paid at the same time as the main pensions.
