The alarm has sounded at Birmingham due to reports of “multiple knife attacks” in the early hours of Sunday.
In accordance with Sky News Local police say a “serious incident” in the city center, without giving details of how many people were injured and how seriously.

“Shortly after, we received calls for other knife attacks in the area. We know there are injuries, but at the moment we cannot say how many, or how badly, the injuries were”, states the police statement.
“It is still too early to speculate on the cause of the incident,” a police officer told the British network.
Authorities have cordoned off the area and are conducting investigations.
