A tragic figure is the mother of Kostas Meligonis, who, supported by her other son, screamed “My lavender.”

The wreaths in memory of the 34 years were sent by the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the President of the Republic, Ms. Aikaterini Sakellaropoulou, the President of SYRIZA Alexis Tsipras and the President of KINAL, Fofi Gennimata.

The Armed Forces are mourning the loss of the paratrooper who was blown away by the winds after an overnight exercise in Megara, finally losing his life on Friday.
It all started Thursday night when the paratrooper lost after strong winds.
During a night exercise conducted by the special department of paratroopers in Megara, The 34-year-old was found outside the launch zone and fell into a swamp.
After some time, the army forces located him and transferred him to the 401 military hospital. However, his injuries were serious, as a result of which the unfortunate 34-year-old succumbed to them.
According to sources National Defense Staff, the incident happened On the night of September 3-4, 2020, Sergeant EPOP (PZ) of the Interdisciplinary Special Operations Command Unit was fatally injured during a night ground operation free jump.
The Armed Forces express their deepest condolences to his family. The causes and circumstances of the accident are duly investigated.
