At the moment when the fire in Sofiko in Corinto presents a better panorama, two new fire fronts gave the alarm to the Fire Service, at noon on Friday (09/04).
A fire is breaking out in an agroforestry area in the Agios Nikon area in West Mani Municipality, Messinia.
There are 21 firefighters operating in the area with six vehicles and an infantry unit, while the work of the ground forces is assisted by air from a helicopter.

Great fire in Kefalonia
At the same time, a fire is breaking out in a forest area in the Helmata area, Kefalonia.
According to the Fire Department, the flames are near the settlements of Kompothekrata and Lakithra but there has not yet been a recommendation for their preventive evacuation.
There are 28 firefighters operating with 7 vehicles and a group of pedestrians in the air.
At the same time, 3 planes and a helicopter assist in the fire fighting.
