Documentary photo of the couple’s execution in Zakynthos

A photo emerged showing the perpetrators of the couple’s execution in Zakynthos last June.

The photo, provided by ERT, shows the two alleged executors mounted on a camera and wearing white helmets and black clothing. The photographic document is a few seconds after the execution. The perpetrators had placed a car on the side of the road waiting for the couple to pass through the same place to go home.

When given the opportunity, they shot the androgynous man, who was also riding a motorcycle, resulting in the death of the 37-year-old woman.

It is recalled that the 53-year-old driver and the 37-year-old’s husband were taken to hospital with serious injuries. It is about a well-known businessman who in the past had occupied the authorities.

The passenger of the executioners’ motorcyclists shot the couple several times in a row, as a result of which the 37-year-old woman died, who fell from the motorcycle driven by her husband, who was the target of the killers.

The mafia murder took place at noon on June 9, in the Agios Sostis area of ​​Lithakia, Zakynthos.

The Zakynthos Security Police located security cameras on the route followed by the executors after the murder and found that they escaped from the island in an inflatable from Porto Zoro beach.

By boat they crossed in front of Kyllini and reached Attica by road.

According to the police investigation, the executors are Greek and had gone to Zakynthos three days before the heinous crime.

The motorcycle and the murder pistol were not found. However, the ammunition found at the execution site showed that the weapon had not been used in other illegal activities.
