At the same time, five deaths were recorded and the death toll reached 278.
Thirty-nine patients remain intubated in the Intensive Care Units.

“Today we announce 241 new cases of the new virus in the country, of which 31 were detected after checks at the country’s entry gates. The total number of cases is 10,998, of which 55.7% are men.
2,174 (19.8%) are considered related to trips from abroad and 4,843 (44.0%) are related to an already known case.
39 of our fellow citizens are being treated by intubation. Their average age is 68 years. 10 (25.6%) are women and the rest are men. 92.3% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are 70 years or older. 154 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
Finally, we have 5 more deaths registered and 278 deaths in total in the country. 102 (36.7%) women and the rest men. The mean age of our deceased fellow citizens was 78 years and 96.0% had an underlying disease and / or were 70 years or older. “
