Giannis Plakiotakis is also under preventive house arrest, after Adonis Georgiadis and Nikos Papathanasis.

The Minister of Navigation and Insular Policy, Giannis Plakiotakis, was informed today that in an official meeting he had yesterday at the ministry with foreign investors, one of them was diagnosed positive for the COVID-19 coronavirus.

“Fully complying with the health protocol, Giannis Plakiotakis is already in isolation until, according to the EODY protocol, he is diagnosed with a negative one,” noted in the corresponding announcement from the Ministry of Navigation.

It is recalled that the Minister of Development Adonis Georgiadis and the Deputy Minister Nikos Papathanasis are also isolated at home since, as announced, they held a meeting with an investor who was diagnosed positive for the coronavirus.

The two ministers were briefed on this development shortly before leaving for Thessaloniki to accompany Kyriakos Mitsotakis to their meetings there today.

The statement said the two had not met with the prime minister before leaving for their homes.

The investor was reportedly of Israeli origin and the meeting took place at the Ministry of Development, where safe distances were allegedly observed.
