This report was made by a senior ELAS official on the causes of the dramatic incident that took place two days ago at the Attikon Hospital, when a 59-year-old Albanian committed suicide by jumping into space from the 4th floor, having previously attacked and slightly injured to a nurse.

According to the information collected, the 59-year-old man who lived for about 14 years in Greece and had two daughters, was employed in construction work and had recently bought a taxi.
He was diagnosed with lung cancer last March, he was admitted to the hospital on August 19 and finally underwent surgery on the 24th of the month.
But for the next six days he seemed upset because he thought he still had the same preoperative symptoms and the operation he had had had no effect, defying most of the doctors’ actions and having other frictions.
