Skopelos: Galeos was captured 6 meters away

The 6-meter-long and about 500-kilogram gull was caught outdoors at sea in the Mount Athos area and is another impressive trophy for hard-working professional fishermen. I needed a crane to unload at a port in Evia.

With more than forty years of activity in the sea, Nikos and George Brusgiannis have registered in their assets a series of impressive fish, with a top dog of 1,200 kilos at the top of the list and dozens of other fish of enormous dimensions.

Maintaining the family tradition, they have been at sea since they were 12 years old, learning with their grandfather and father, who are also professionally engaged in fishing.

Knowing the secrets of fishing, the two professional fishermen sail the sea with their twenty meter boat, named after their father “Evangelos”, with Nikos’ children following the same route.
