New cases of coronavirus in Greece amount to 177 according to today’s announcement by EODY.
“Today we announced 177 new cases of the new virus in the country, of which 20 were detected after checks at the country’s entry gates. The total number of cases is 9977, of which 55.6% are men ”, says EODY in its official announcement, adding that 2,033 (20.4%) are considered related to travel from abroad and 4402 (44.1 %) are related to an already known case.
At the same time, 36 patients are treated by intubation. Their average age is 68 years. Eleven patients (30.6%) are women and the rest are men. 47.2% have an underlying disease or are 70 years or older. 148 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
Finally, we have 1 more death registered and 260 deaths in total in the country. 92 (35.4%) women and the rest men. The mean age of our dying fellow citizens was 77 years and 93.8% had some underlying disease and / or were 70 years or older.
