On June 2, 250,000 retirees will receive higher supplementary pensions that have been reduced due to Katrougalos law, Labor Minister Giannis Vroutsis told SKAI.
As he explained, this is a reversal of “the great injustice of SYRIZA”, adding that this development refers to the fulfillment of the decisions of the State Council for the insurance of Katrougalos.
The increase, according to the Minister of Labor, will be an average of 99.5 euros gross and in some cases will reach 200 euros.
At the same time, Giannis Vroutsis announced that when the retroactive payments are paid for the main and auxiliary pensions, according to the decisions of the CoE, “they will be paid in a lump sum and in a single payment.”
Finally, the Minister of Labor recalled that there are four more steps pending in insurance:
– the digital pension will be awarded in July
– the increase in the main pensions
– retroactive pensions of supplementary pensions from October 1, 2019
– retroactive payments of the main pensions as of October 1, 2019.
At the same time, he emphasized that the special purpose permit in the private sector will be valid until the end of the school year.
He noted that 40% of new pensions will be digitally issued and that by the end of 2020, public pensions will be digitally issued.
“I apologize to all the people who have experienced retirement,” he said.
Regarding the SURE program, the Minister declared that the employment subsidy will take place from June 1.
