A new earthquake occurred in the sea area south of Heraklion prefecture on Saturday afternoon.

Specifically, an earthquake occurred at 02.36 in the morning, with a magnitude of 3.9 on the Richter scale.
Its epicenter was recorded 95 km south of Arvi in Heraklion prefecture and with a focal depth of 10 km.
At 05.16 in the morning, a new earthquake of magnitude 3.1 was recorded, 82 kilometers south of Ierapetra and with a focal depth of 10 kilometers.
And all this exactly one week after the great earthquake that occurred in the Ierapetra sea area, with an intensity of 6 degrees on the Richter scale.
