The total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 infection in Spain increased to 188,068, according to Fernando Simon, head of emergency health services, during a press conference.
Health authorities said 5,252 new cases of infection between yesterday and today, registering an increase 2.9%
The increase in the number of deaths reached 10.5% compared to the previous day, where 551 deaths had been registered.
