Education Minister Niki Kerameas and Sotiris Tsiodras will announce the plan for the opening of schools tomorrow Wednesday.
The Minister of Education, together with the specialist in infectious diseases and the Vice Minister of Civil Protection, Nikos Hardalias, will jointly present the measures for the reopening of educational structures.
According to the information, the predominant scenario is that the courses begin at the 3rd Lyceum on Monday, May 11. The remaining classes at the Lyceum and the Gyms will continue on May 25.
Elementary and kindergarten schools are expected to open Monday, June 1, while what will happen to kindergartens has not been announced.
It is noted that on Sunday, speaking on open television, Niki Kerameos referred to the extension of the school year “not beyond the end of June and the beginning of the previous new school year, but not for all levels”, while the objective of the ministry is to complete the national year exams in July.
