The Greek restaurant industry will participate in the pan-European “empty chair” protest.
In particular, the Pan-Hellenic Federation of Restaurants and Allied Professions announced that it will participate in the pan-European “empty chairs” protest, which will take place today at 20:00 in various cities in Greece.

The events will be implemented by the primary associations. The main protest event in Athens will take place, the same day and time, in Syntagma Square with the installation of empty chairs.
The protest is a symbolic and silent act of the restaurant and entertainment industry, which will implement POESE, without the presence of people in the industry. The demand is to find effective solutions for the survival of professionals in the restaurant and entertainment industry.
Mitsotakis: it is possible to open the restaurant from June 1
It is recalled that a teleconference was held on Tuesday with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis with the participation of ministers, the Governor of the Bank of Greece and executives of the banking system. In this sense, the Prime Minister emphasized that “as long as we continue moving as we did in the last month, in terms of epidemiological data, the opening of the food service under these conditions on June 1 is something that is completely possible.”
