What the sailors’ unions are asking for
The unions, in their call, request the repeal of laws 4714/2020, 4150/2013, 4770/2021, restoration of all pension rights, independence of NAT, the Casa del Marinero and other funds. Likewise, signing of Collective Agreements BCC 2020-2021 in all categories of ships, social security for all seafarers, taking all necessary measures for the immediate return of the Covid-19 subsidy and unemployment to all seafarers.
They demand universal health care, public education, infrastructure improvements, staffing, improvement of the material base and the curriculum.
