Google wants people to use Meat from its own Meat-Y hardware bundles

Google is once again expanding its hardware business by entering the webcam business – however, this bid makes Cisco scream more than Logitech. The company is selling bundles of video conferencing devices, entitled Series One Room Kits, which revolve around something ubiquitous Google Meet conferencing service and what group meetings will look like in the near future.

The purpose of the company’s design does not take into account the current environment where everyone is appearing in their pajama seats, but some parts of the workspace where the fees come in and group meetings are held in a large room with socially participating participants. Some governments are already pushing employers to adopt such a hybrid staffing model.

Google’s Series One hardware comes in sizes for small, medium and large rooms. All sizes include the Meet AI-computing unit running Chrome OS – stocked with an Intel Core i7 processor and Google Edge TPU – which automatically controls the image cropping for the wide-angle camera provided by Hudley (for small and medium) 1080, 4K for larger) and True Audio Dio bars with tensor processors for sound cancellation and clarity.

Category A Medium Room Kit.

The smaller kit gets a remote control while the Meadow monitors are equipped with a medium and large 10.1 “touchscreen unit. The mic pod – of which the medium kit is one, the big two – for extended oral access to individual participants. Meetings can be started or connected by calling Google Assistant. Everything except computer can gain power over Ethernet through daisy-chaining.
