That happened: On Wednesday morning at 8:10 am, a shopping cart flew off the 21st floor of a high-rise building on Frankfurter Allee. On the sidewalk, the missile missed three people by a hair.

A family man (33) with his son (2) by the hand narrowly escaped death: the metal car struck them just one meter away as they left the house.

“If I’d walked out the door a step earlier, the thing would have hit me completely,” says the man, who was still in shock Thursday. A 40-year-old passerby was also lucky, the car overlooked him as little as the father of the family.
