An accident occurred on the A 81 on Monday night. Winfried Kretschmann’s company car was also involved. The Prime Minister of Baden-Württemberg was not injured, but there were still injuries.

Baden-Württemberg Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann survived a road accident unscathed. According to a government spokesperson, the green politician’s car skidded in a wet lane on Autobahn 81 Monday night, hit the railing and then stopped on the shoulder.

However, two occupants of another car were seriously injured in the accident. Soon after, at the same point between Möckmühl and Boxberg in the Heilbronn district, his car skidded and he slid into an escort vehicle from Kretschmann’s column.

According to the information, two colleagues of the Prime Minister were also slightly injured. The escort vehicle and a police patrol were behind the head of the government’s car that had crashed.

According to his spokesman, Kretschmann was later taken to Stuttgart with a replacement vehicle. He had completed the day with several appointments in the Heilbronn region.
