Wendler apologizes to RTL and announces return – broadcaster rejects
Last week Michael Wendler returned with a couple photo on Instagram and at the same time announced in his story that he would return on November 3. How should this comeback be? It’s not clear. Some hoped for new conspiracy narratives, some for new music, and the next for radical change. And in fact: Wendler wants to pull out of retirement, at least on one level.
In his video, which was posted on Instagram on November 3, US Election Day, Wendler (dressed in Trump red, by the way) spoke about Election Day and the euphoric “optimism” he claims is Trump. I owe it. He believes that what has been discussed in the media about Joe Biden and his family in recent days will have an impact on the outcome of the election. But that’s probably not what fans really care about. And so, after his brief analysis of his options, Wendler quickly gets to talk about what really matters: his future.

Wendler apologizes to RTL
Wendler even admits in his story that he made mistakes, something you don’t even know about Wendler, that he is always convinced of himself. Especially regarding his old RTL farm house and station, he rowed and even apologized:
“I commented to the media and accused them of conformity. I have to put that in perspective. […] I have to apologize to RTL. I did RTL an injustice by dragging him onto this ship. RTL was the only station that tried to interview me. That is very commendable. […] I feel it right now. Timing was the wrong expression. For this I would like to apologize in every way. “

Wendler also revisits the issue of “DSDS” in his video, explaining that he feared a second lockdown weeks ago and spoke openly about it with those responsible for the format. Why did a second confinement matter so much to him? This is due to the experiences of this year’s “Let’s Dance” season. Because that was when the first confinement came into force and from now on he and Laura were put “like a dog in the street.” The hotels were closed and without a permanent place to stay in Germany, the couple had a hard time. He didn’t want to experience that a second time. The feeling “destroyed” him.
