Passengers on public transport in Hamburg must be prepared for massive restrictions. Due to the risk of corona infection, the HVV only wants to send subways and buses if enough drivers are available and the trains are not overcrowded. However, Hochbahn hopes there will be no travel. The S-Bahn will not be affected by the warning strike. VHH bus routes are also on strike, as VHH announced on Wednesday. The warning strike will begin on Thursday from the start of operations at 3 am and is expected to last until 3 pm

Criticisms from the elevated railway
The Hochbahn is concerned for its hundreds of thousands of passengers and fears that the strike could have massive effects. Ironically, in the worsening pandemic of the crown, the union wants to largely paralyze local transport in Hamburg. “From our point of view, passengers should not be held hostage for national campaigns,” said Claudia Güsken, a member of the Hochbahn board.
Hochbahn: No connection to the collective bargaining dispute in the public service
