Hello dear friends and fans, Today is definitely not an easy day for me, because I have decided to end my career after 13 years with immediate effect. I made this decision with great regret and after careful consideration in recent weeks. After my injury in the spring and the last two months in snow training, I noticed that I could no longer reach my absolute maximum level. From an early age, it has always been my aspiration and incentive to win races and inspire you on the tracks. Since I now have the feeling that I can no longer do this justice, this is a very difficult decision, but for me it is inevitable. With the memory of my last race weekend at Garmisch and the downhill win, it’s a good time to leave the winter sports stage. I would like to thank my family, friends, and fans, as well as @dsv_alpin with all the coaches, supervisors, and my partners for the wonderful time and years of support. I also thank my fellow skiers and all the people I have met at the World Cup in recent years. I’m sure we’ll meet again soon, Vicky.
