The electoral victory of the American Democrat Joe Biden in the state of Michigan has been officially confirmed. After days of unrest, an electoral body on Monday certified the 78-year victory over President Donald Trump in the Midwest state. Trump has been exposing suspected voter fraud in Michigan and other states for weeks.
According to official figures from the “State Canvassing Board,” which includes two Republicans and two Democrats, Biden’s lead over Trump in Michigan is 154,000 votes. This means that all 16 major state voters go to the Democrats. For Trump, the election is virtually impossible to win, despite legal challenges in other states.
For weeks, Trump has been making the false claim that his election victory was “stolen.” Sometimes you try to take legal action against the results in individual statements. In Michigan, he followed another strategy as well: He recently invited the state’s Republican majority leaders to the White House in a remarkable move. However, the meeting was not in Trump’s sense: politicians emphasized after the meeting that they would “follow normal procedure” when appointing the electorate.
