British Prime Minister Boris Johnson plans to introduce a five-stage warning system for England to fight the crown pandemic, the media reports. The levels must be marked with color codes from green to red and indicate the risk of crown in the respective area, as reported, among others, by the British newspaper “Sun”.
The plan is part of the government’s flexibilization plans and should be presented later in the day. Housing Minister Robert Jenrick also said the government is now “slowly and cautiously” trying to start the economy again.
The warning system should allow the government to tighten restrictions depending on the regional situation. Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland have their own powers to relax curfews. However, they are expected to be largely adapted to the measures in England.
Johnson urges attention
Johnson makes a television speech at night. He will reportedly then announce the easing of the crown measures, such as a partial lifting of exit restrictions and the opening of new stores.
“This is the dangerous part,” Johnson said of the “Sunday Sun.” Britain had passed the peak of the pandemic. Now the country must be even more careful to do everything right.
Johnson himself had recently been criticized for being seen walking through St. James Park, but shortly before calling his compatriots to stay home. According to the Daily Mail newspaper, he was questioned by a citizen in the park.
