Everyone interprets differently to get an impression of the situation “in situ”. For US President Trump (no mask), a briefing by California Governor Gavin Newsom (wearing a mask) in a cool room at the Sacramento airport is obviously sufficient.

California is one of the states where large wildfires are occurring. President Trump arrives, denies climate change and advises better tree care. His opponent Joe Biden seizes the opportunity.
AUS President Donald Trump played down the threat of climate change during a visit to California because of the wildfires there. California Minister Wade Crowfoot warned Trump on Monday that climate change and its importance to forests must be recognized and science must work together. “It’s going to start to cool down, you’ll see,” Trump said.
Minister Crowfoot, who is a natural resource conservationist, replied: “I would like science to agree with you.” Trump said, “Well, I don’t think science really knows.” Including California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom addressed the president clearly. You can clearly feel that the heat and drought are increasing. Climate change is real, Newsom said.
During discussion with emergency services and law enforcement officials, Trump once again blamed inadequate forest care for the massive wildfires in the west. “The forest must be managed and cared for,” Trump demanded. Fallen trees dry up a lot after a short time. “You really do become a match. They just explode, ”the president said. He had made a similar statement in recent years. Newsom reminded Trump that most of California’s forested area is managed by the federal government and that the state owns only 3 percent.
