For Brady it is already the 10th Super Bowl appearance of his career, six times the quarterback legend has secured the ring with the New England Patriots. Now the most successful quarterback in history is heading for the title with the Bucs; it would be the first win since 2003, when Tampa Bay celebrated the only title in franchise history.

But the Buccaneers have already made history: Coach Bruce Arians’ team is the first in the NFL to compete at home for the Super Bowl. (SERVICE: All games and results)

Brady started strong

Brady started the game in a fury and immediately made three strong passes. The first touchdown was recorded after just four minutes. But Rodgers found his form early, too: With a sensational 50-plus-yard throw from Márquez Valdés-Scantling, the 37-year-old pitched the Packers for the first touchdown and to equalize.

Shortly before the breakup, he went crazy again. With just 28 seconds to go, Rodgers intercepted (he’d been sacked before) and gave Brady another chance to score.

And he took his chance! Seven seconds before the end of the first half, the 43-year-old shone with a 39-yard touchdown pass to Scotty Miller. A major setback for Green Bay, which from the Packers’ point of view should never happen.

Kevin King, in particular, did not have a good figure in this play. The cornerback was simply overrun by Miller, which was already the second touchdown King allowed in this game. (SERVICE: All NFL divisions at a glance)

Brady makes mistakes

After halftime, Green Bay picked up where it left off. Aaron Jones fumbled, which the Bucs turned into a touchdown, a really horrible start from the Packers’ point of view.

But the hosts didn’t want to give up so quickly. Rodgers was also hot and served Davante Adams, who made the connection at 25:28 with a touchdown. Rodgers has thrown multiple touchdowns in nine straight postseason games, the longest series in NFL history!

Catch-up Packers are not rewarded

As a result, the Packers made another mistake: the franchise was for two, Rodgers pass but it escaped from the hands of the German Equanimeous St. Brown.

In the fourth quarter, the Packers really improved and Brady made several mistakes. The hosts began to catch up, but were unsuccessful just four minutes before the end of eight yards from the end zone and decided on a field goal.

The Packers defense couldn’t stop Tampa after all. King became a tragic figure: The cornerback caused pass interference with a jerk of the jersey and sealed the loss for his Packers.
