It took Timo Werner four minutes to land at her feet.
A long pass from Hakim Ziyech, also a newcomer, to Callum Hudson-Odoi, a cross pass to the center of the area and the completion of the former Leipzig player, was Werner’s first goal as a blues striker.

Before the test against Brighton, Werner admitted on the Blues website that it was not that easy at the beginning of his time at Chelsea. “I trained on my own for a while after signing. It was weird because I really wanted to meet the whole team and get straight to the point in training camp. I had to be patient.”
But now the 24-year-old already feels fully integrated, which is shown by the many congratulations from his new teammates, such as his assistant Hudson-Odoi.

The whole Chelsea environment is already in the fever of Timo Werner. Fans are betting that the Swede could even win the Golden Boot as Europe’s top scorer next season.
