Donald Trump continues to refuse to admit defeat to Joe Biden. Trump’s inner circle tries to influence him, with very different advice.
After Joe Biden’s victory speech, the White House man initially remained silent. But on Sunday, Donald Trump reported to Twitter and revealed that he continues to view himself as a victim of systematic voter fraud, without presenting any evidence to support this claim. In his immediate environment, voices are increasing that want to convince Trump to recognize Biden’s victory.
Members of his family in particular are said to have great influence on Trump. According to CNN, First Lady Melania advised her husband to accept his defeat. Trump’s adviser Jason Miller dismissed the report on Twitter as “fake news.”
There is no clear statement from Melania
A little later, Melania Trump wrote on Twitter: “The American people deserve fair elections. Every legal vote, not illegal, must be counted. We must protect our democracy with complete transparency.”
The tweet is so general that it can be interpreted in both directions: Trump’s wife also believes that the elections were not fair. Why else should I comment on the subject on Twitter? Or: you do not agree with your husband, because his tweet does not mention that there were really irregularities or even fraud in the elections.
The American people deserve fair elections. Every legal vote, not illegal, must be counted. We must protect our democracy with full transparency.

Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner is also said to have spoken to his father-in-law about the issue. According to the news portal “Axios”, he advised him to continue with the legal process. Kushner and his wife, Trump’s daughter Ivanka, are officially advisers to the president. “Axios” quoted an anonymous source as saying that “unpleasant conversations” were taking place in Trump’s orbit and that his inner circle had canceled the election victory, but the latter insisted on having won. However, “CNN” reports from two anonymous sources, according to which Kushner has advised Trump to acknowledge Biden’s victory.
All votes cast legally must be counted. Any vote cast illegally should not do so. This should not be controversial.
This is not a partisan statement: free and fair elections are the foundation of our democracy. 🇺🇸

Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, was as reserved and ambiguous as her stepmother Melania on Twitter. He demanded that all legal votes be counted and not all illegal votes. Free and fair elections are “the foundation of our democracy.”
The best thing for America’s future is @realDonaldTrump go to all-out war on this election to expose all the fraud, cheating, dead / no longer in state voters, that has been going on for far too long.
It’s time to clean up this mess and stop looking like a banana republic!

Trump’s sons Donald Jr. and Eric still stand behind their father and his refusal to admit defeat. They are said to have asked their close allies to publicly question US media forecasts and projections. Trump Jr. had previously asked his father on Twitter to start a “total war” over the election. It must “expose all fraud and cheating.” Trump Jr. has tweeted almost nonstop since then, mostly unsubstantiated allegations of voter fraud.
This is what it looks like when a loser loses.

Trump received violent criticism from his niece Mary Trump during his press conference shortly after the closure of polling stations in the United States. Trump declared himself the winner and made a victory, at the time still hypothetical, for Biden responsible for the electoral fraud. However, Trump was also unable to present evidence of this. Mary Trump wrote on Twitter: “This is what it looks like when a loser loses.” Mary Trump, a doctor of psychology, had published a popular book before the election and warned against her uncle’s second term. In an interview, he said that his uncle was a pathological and racist liar.
Donald Trump is considered a family man. But even his inner circle seems to be divided on the question of how Trump should deal with his apparent defeat. If you look at Trump’s latest tweets, he seems to be listening to his kids more right now. It seems that Trump is not ready, yet, to acknowledge reality and, therefore, his defeat.
