Paula Dalla Corte gewinnt „The Voice of Germany“ 2020

A Swiss woman is “the best voice in Germany”. The 19-year-old student from Thurgau also won last night against Oliver Henrich from Wülfrather.

Singer Samu Haber had already described Paula Dalla Corte as an exceptional talent when she sang her way to the semifinals with Lewi Capaldi’s song “Bruises”. Shortly after midnight, the young singer won the entire season of the talent show on Pro Sieben and Sat 1. The 19-year-old student received the most votes from the audience for her final three appearances on Sunday night with around 44 percent.

The talented team of singers Samu Haber and Rea Garvey convinced with the London Grammar song “Strong” as well as duets with their coaches (“Someone Better”) and guest star Sarah Connor (“Bye Bye”).

At the pre-Christmas show on Saturday the 1st shortly after midnight, Dalla Corte faced Oliver Henrich (39) from Wülfrath near Wuppertal, the good-humored duo Mael (19) and Jonas (24) from Koblenz, Alessandro Pola (30) from Karlsruhe and Tosari Udayana (19) from Hannover.

The nearly four-hour live final from Berlin took place for the first time without an audience. Additionally, due to Corona rules, candidates and coaches were not allowed to hug each other for the entire anniversary season and had to be evaluated regularly.
