Nurses and people over 80 can get vaccinated against coronavirus by appointment at one of the 15 vaccination centers that have opened.
The first 15 of a total of 29 vaccination centers in Schleswig-Holstein start operating today. The Ministry of Health announced. They will initially be open between 1 pm and 6 pm As soon as enough vaccine is available, more vaccination centers will open. Then the uptime will also be extended.

The 15 centers open at the following locations: Kiel, Flensburg, Neumünster, Lübeck, Heide (Dithmarschen district), Alt-Mölln (Lauenburg district), Husum (North Frisian district), Eutin (Ostholstein district), Prisdorf (Pinneberg district), Schönberg (Plön district), Gettorf (Rendsburg-Eckernförde district), Kropp (Schleswig-Flensburg district), Kaltenkirchen (Segeberg district), Itzehoe (Steinburg district), Bad Oldesloe (Stormarn district).
Caregivers get vaccinated first
In accordance with the vaccination ordinance, the nurses in inpatient care facilities and outpatient services are vaccinated first. It is also the turn of rescuers, hospices and ambulatory palliative care teams, and people who are 80 and older. This also includes staff at individual practices where highly vulnerable patient groups are treated. Personal risk factors, such as previous illnesses, are not taken into account in the first priority level.
Bring documents
The Schleswig-Holstein Ministry of Health advises that registered persons must bring their registration documents and their vaccination authorization. For example, people over 80 years of age must present a valid identity document or a comparable document at the vaccination center. The vaccination authorization for professional activity must be accredited by a certificate from the employer.
