Wissam Remmo has come a long way if he applies the criminal rules. The Remmo family’s son is 23 years old and has already been convicted of a million dollar hit. A comment from BZ journalist Andra Fischer.

In 2017, Wissam Remmo, with the support of two clan accomplices and a security guard, stole a 100 kilogram coin of pure gold from the Bode Museum. Therefore, he has been on trial since January 2019. The verdict after thirteen months and 42 days of trial: Four and a half years in prison for Wissam Remmo.

His defense was under review. This was only withdrawn in September of this year, and now the sentence is also final.

But is Wissam Remmo also in custody? No. On Tuesday morning, around 3 am, he was arrested in the course of the mega raid for the mega robbery at the Green Vault. He was sitting in a car and he was driving very fast.

So the verdict had been final since September, Tuesday, November 17. Even if you are calculating lightly, at least six weeks have passed. Berlin is fighting the fight against criminal clan structures that supply a huge network of real estate and wealth.

In keeping with the rule of law, Wissam Remmo had not yet served his gold coin sentence when the raid on him broke out on Tuesday.

But the signal that is sent with this disregard of the rule of law is impertinence.
