After the death of 25-year-old Kasia Lenhardt, many rumors circulate. Now the doctor responsible for the autopsy of the dead has taken a detailed position and, in doing so, has removed some speculation.
Two weeks ago, Kasia Lenhardt was found dead in an apartment in Berlin. The former girlfriend of Bayern player Jérôme Boateng died at the age of 25, the day his son turned six. The rumors emerged quickly and just as quickly the Berlin investigating authorities said: Third party debt could be discarded.
An autopsy was also carried out at the request of the prosecutor in the ex-GNTM model. And the responsible doctor commented on it in detail in a video. “In recent days it has been repeatedly rumored on social media that she had been murdered and that the autopsy and subsequent examinations in forensic medicine did not go well,” says Michael Tsokos of the rumors surrounding Kasia Lenhardt.
No “evidence of third party negligence” was found. The doctor clarifies: “That means they didn’t kill her.” But as speculations about the woman’s death persisted, he decided “in coordination with the Berlin prosecutor” to take a position and explain some things. Then he explains the procedure in forensic medicine in detail.
“An autopsy of this type is not done only in a small and quiet room. According to the Code of Criminal Procedure, two cars are always required, a section assistant is present, in this case a representative of the Criminal Police Office of the State of Berlin was also present at the autopsy in the autopsy room, as well as several employees of forensic medicine from Berlin. “
The 54-year-old then addresses people who are selectively spreading disinformation and who have also made complaints against him and his employees: “That is why what I and my employees have been seeing on social media in recent days it’s pretty pathetic. ” It hits him “hard”, after all, he’s been doing his job for 25 years and has been a professor of forensic medicine for 20 years. The video was viewed almost 200,000 times in seven hours; most of the comments are positive.
Investigations against Boateng resume
The head of forensic medicine at the Berlin Charité ends his speech with an appeal: “A functioning constitutional state always depends on an objective forensic medicine that works according to the latest scientific criteria, and that is really the case in Germany. Everyone. You can trust that the autopsy was carried out independently and conscientiously by Kasia Lenhardt and that the results were transmitted to the Public Ministry in a completely transparent and unadulterated manner. “
Shortly after the doctor’s video, it emerged that investigations into Kasia Lenhardt’s ex-boyfriend, Jérôme Boateng, had started again. The model had accused him of violent in 2019. The investigation was stopped a year later. But now, after her death, the Munich public prosecutor’s office has “gained new knowledge” as part of the death investigation process in Berlin and the proceedings against the 2014 soccer world champion have resumed.
