First theater, then television
Victoria Trauttmansdorff was born on September 8, 1960 in Vienna and began her acting career in the theater. She received her first engagement at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, then roles at the Nationaltheater Mannheim and at the Stuttgart Schauspielhaus. In 1993, director Jürgen Flimm finally took her to the Thalia Theater in Hamburg, where she celebrated a great success. In the late 1990s, the Viennese moved more into film and television.

Viewers know the actress from the ZDF series “Einsatz in Hamburg”: from 2004 to 2010 she blinked as a pathologist, Dr. Helga Dunkel on the screens. In 2007, the Austrian actress earned critical acclaim for her role as Anne Hoffman in the family drama “Gegenüber.” For her portrayal of the beating wife, Trauttmansdorff even received a German Film Award nomination for Best Actress.
She continued with excellent results – in 2019 she was seen as the foster mother Sylvia in the multi-award winning drama film “Systemsprecher.” The Franco-German feature film “And Tomorrow the Whole World” (theatrical release: October 29, 2020) also starts anew for the award ceremonies.
