On Friday night the winner of “Celebrity Big Brother” 2020 was chosen. The former candidates were also present at the grand finale of the eighth season. But three of the former residents were missing. But why?
Big Brother has never opened its doors to so many celebrities. A total of 18 more or less known stars moved into the container. Four of them made it to the final: singer Kathy Kelly, reality star Mischa Mayer, former sports reporter Werner Hansch, and Ballermann star Ikke Hüftgold. They fought each other on Friday night for the win and 100,000 euros.
They received support from fans and viewers, but also from their former teammates. Because in the grand finale of “Celebrity Big Brother” Jochen Schropp and Marlene Lufen not only welcomed the finalists one after another, but also all the other eliminated candidates such as Emmy Russ, Katy Bähm or Simone Mecky-Ballack.
Finale without Senay, Elene and Jenny
But not everyone made it to the final in Cologne Ossendorf, three of the former contestants were missing: stage DJ Senay Gueler, Katzenberger’s sister Jenny Frankhauser and former BTN actress Elene Lucia Ameur. Ironically, the three candidates who had voluntarily left the land of fairy tales. And that is also the reason for their absence.
“Anyone who decides to leave ‘Promi Big Brother’ voluntarily is out. This also applies to the finals,” confirmed a spokesperson for Sat.1 when asked by t-online.de. The same thing happened in recent years. In 2018, for example, Karl-Heinz Richard von Sayn-Wittgenstein threw in the towel. He also stayed away from the final at the time.

Jenny Frankhauser had left the land of fairy tales after eight days.because he hoped his voluntary departure would protect Elene from the nomination list. But this plan did not work.
Soon after, Senay Gueler came out. The modern DJ from Berlin always offended his flatmates. For the former “Berlin – Day & Night” actress, the “Celebrity Big Brother” project became too much after 13 days. Elene Lucia Ameur also came out.
