Supreme Court dismisses Trump’s election lawsuit in one sentence

reThe United States Supreme Court has rejected an attempt by Republicans to dismiss Joe Biden’s victory in Pennsylvania. The court denied a request for a court order without comment on Tuesday.

In late November, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled against the plaintiffs, led by Republican Rep. Mike Kelly. They had asked the court to retroactively declare the ballots cast invalid.

Trump had recently renewed his accusations of election fraud and compared the vote to that of a developing country. “The election was totally rigged,” Trump said Monday at a White House ceremony. “It is a shame for our country, it is like a third world country.” Republican Trump lost the election on November 3 to his Democratic challenger Joe Biden.

Dozens of lawsuits filed by his attorneys so far have not changed the results in major states. Attorney General William Barr said last week that there was no evidence of voter fraud to the point that it would change the outcome.
