Two men do not want to wear mouth protection at the supermarket, the police are called, and the matter escalates: Two police officers are seriously injured.
According to DPA information, investigators suspect officials were lured into a trap. Consequently, it is suspected that the two suspects intentionally caused the situation. One of the two had filmed the process with a camera attached to his body and apparently posted a partial sequence online. As the dpa discovered, investigators are also verifying if one of the two suspects has any connection to the scene of the Reich citizens.
According to a report in the “Bild” newspaper, a raid on one of the suspects took place on Wednesday afternoon. The alleged perpetrator is said to belong to the Reichsbürger medium.

On Saturday afternoon, officials had been called to the supermarket in Troisdorf, near Cologne. The internet video shows the suspect arguing with the camera with the police in multiple languages because he does not want to show his identification. The second man, now with a cloth over his mouth, pretends to be a translator and intervenes. Finally, the situation escalates and the “translator”, already dejected, hits one of the officials in the face.

“You cannot rule out political action”
Bonn state security has now taken over the investigation. “In view of the general circumstances, political action cannot be ruled out,” a Bonn police spokesman told the “Generalanzeiger.” In the video you can hear, among other things, how the end of the film says: “I am a person, I do not need an identity card (…) I am a person and sovereign.”
The men are being investigated for intentional physical harm and assault on police officers. They were released for lack of reasons for detention.
