The Spanish police found a large arsenal and numerous Nazi devotional objects in a coup against armed men on the Costa del Sol. The leaders of the gang, who are two Germans and one British, have been arrested, reports the Europa Press news agency, citing the police. According to the police, a “museum” with Nazi uniforms, flags and other Nazi objects was found in one of the Germans who had connections with far-right circles.

In cooperation with the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) it was found that the other of the two Germans, who was allegedly living as a pensioner in Coín, near Malaga, was wanted on an arrest warrant in Germany due to a nearby weapons store from Hannover. The three detainees are accused of forming a criminal organization, smuggling weapons, ammunition and drugs and falsifying documents.

Weapon depot with assault rifles and explosives

The arsenal of the gang supplying arms to drug dealers in southern Spain was unusually extensive. A total of 121 pistols, 22 assault rifles, 8 submachine guns, 9,976 rounds of ammunition of different calibers, eight silencers, 273 magazines and even a grenade with a kilo and a half of explosives were seized, according to Europa Press.

The gang had bought unusable weapons of war in Eastern Europe and put them back into operation in a secret workshop. The investigation began last year when dangerous weapons were increasingly used in fighting between rival drug gangs in the region.
