His mantra: “Better what is right and what is right than it takes half. And rather with an effective therapy than with pure placebos ”. Because: In November it will be decided “how we can spend the whole month, at least until Christmas”.
Above all, for Söder there is compliance with contact restrictions. Their motto: “Reduce contacts, reduce contacts, reduce contacts!”

Söder has clear expectations of the summit of the country’s leaders with Chancellor Merkel. Failure to do so will have serious financial consequences throughout the winter and for people with psychological consequences. We need a course that applies everywhere in Germany. “

Help for culture and economy
Culture is particularly affected by the pandemic: theaters, museums, cinemas, etc. That is why it also seems to be one of Söders’ top priorities: “We have launched a global culture program today worth 370 million euros,” he says.

Hospital overload “just a matter of time”
“In hospitals it is only a matter of time that we are overwhelmed, not only by the beds, but also by the corresponding nursing staff,” says Söder.
“Why hasn’t it come so far? Fortunately, because we are a little better prepared than in spring ”. Hygiene measures were effective, masks would help a lot.
Brinkhaus: After health protection “nothing comes for a long time”
The head of the CDU / CSU franchise, Ralph Brinkhaus, also called for tough measures against the crown in the run-up to the summit. He said: “We have a clear expectation that we will have contact and movement restrictions.”
