On Sunday, about 3,000 guests were at the Hinterstoder ski area at 12 p.m., but a third left at 12:30 p.m., according to Achleitner.

Quarantine for foreigners

Many ski areas are open in Austria, but in fact only for Austrians. There is a ten-day quarantine obligation for guests from abroad.

In addition, the FFP2 masks are mandatory for all skiers over 14 years of age who use gondolas or chair lifts or have to queue.
