Three months after Rot am See’s sixth murder, charges were filed against the alleged 26-year-old perpetrator. The man is charged with murder in six cases and attempted murder in a crime involving dangerous bodily harm in two cases, according to the Ellwangen public prosecutor’s office. For the first time, the researchers also mentioned a possible reason. Consequently, the defendant should have long planned to kill his mother and half-sister for alleged abuse.

According to the prosecutor, the suspect entered a rifle club before the crime and legally purchased a nine-millimeter pistol. On January 24, the family met at a funeral in Rot am See, where the alleged perpetrator lived with his father, who was separated from his mother.

At the meeting, the defendant allegedly fired multiple shots at his mother on the stairs and shot his father. He is said to have later killed his seriously injured mother with a shot to the head. Hit or seriously hurt other family members.
