Sexism against Sawsan Chebli: Dorothee Bär leaves the Ludwig Erhard Foundation

CSU policy Dorothee Bär draws conclusions from a sexist statement published under the responsibility of publicist Roland Tichy and terminates her membership in the Ludwig Erhard Foundation. Tichy is president of the foundation and directs the magazine “Tichys insight”.

Below a photo of Cheblis, the article read: “What speaks for Sawsan? Journalist friends who have been friends have only been able to determine the G-spot as a plus point in the special old people’s democratic party.

Chebli had posted the post on Twitter. She commented on him with the words: “A particularly pathetic, but sadly everyday example of sexism against women in politics.” Bear shared Chebli’s tweet and wrote: “This is disgusting dirt! Where is this garbage?”

Bär told the “Handelsblatt”: “Such failures are unbearable and absolutely incompatible with the aims of the foundation. Ludwig Erhard’s request today would certainly not be the degradation of women, but the promotion of women’s careers.” Erhard, a CDU politician, was German Chancellor from 1963 to 1966.

Because only then can a market economy be social and successful today. The market economy is an “indispensable pillar of our country, whose strengthening and expansion has been close to my heart since the beginning of my political activity,” added the CSU politician.
